About Me
Well, let's start with my current situation. I live in Montebello, Ca. with my children, Lil Mary, (21), Marty, (20), Pedro, (15), Alexxis, (14) and my grandpa Pedro, (92) and still going. Oh, yeah, and my precious grandson Isaac (3) from my daughter Lil Mary. I am currently married, my husband name is Alberto, he was deported and is currently living in Tijuana. We are in the process to see if he can or in the future fix his immigrant status, and eventually live with us in the states legally. I work in Montebello, my job title is Credit and Collections Specialist. Believe it or not, I love my job, its a daily adventure. My past time is to be involved in my childrens' sports activities, hang out with my compadres, go shopping, travel locally, comedy shows, artists concerts, and try to live pacific and not go insane.
I, myself was born at Women's Hospital @ General on a beautiful day. I have another sibling his name is Miguel he is (4 years younger). As you can see I have a small family, my mother and father are both deceased. My brother, Miguel, too much drama, so he is not active in the family tree. I attended catholic school in ELA, Our Lady of Lourdes and then proceeded to Sacred Heart of Mary High School in Montebello. In 1986 I had my first love and got my feet too wet, and ended up pregnant with Lil Mary. 11 months later, I was pregnant again with Marty. Things didn't work out with their father, he didn't mature enough when we became parents, so we parted ways. I finished my high school at Roosevelt HS in Boyle Heights, Ca. Immediately graduating, I was accepted @ CSULA, and obtained a job with the LAUSD. In 1991. I found my love his name is Eugene. We dated for 30 days consecutively, and married after through the Superior Court. Eugene raised Lil Mary (4) and Mary (3) like his own, we bonded like the family we were, and (2) years later Pedro came along and finally Alexxis to complete the family. At that point, I thought my life was perfect, children, husband and secure job.
In 1996, we separated due to too family interference on both sides. My children took it the worst, and to add to the mix, Lil Mary and Marty father had came back into the picture, and was visiting the children only because he had to pay child support. During the time of our separation, Eugene and I found new partners and moved on with our lives. We never divorced, we always kept our communication open because we knew we still had love for each other and our children. Life went on, then in January of 2001 Eugene was shot and killed. Leaving a very empty hole in my heart, and my children without a father. This was a real tragedy, and legally still being his wife and preparing everything was a big task for me to accomplish. The worst moment for me was the day I had to tell Pedro and Alexxis they were never going to feel a hug or kiss from their daddy again. Through all of this, my support rock was Alberto. A year later we married, Alberto and I were a married couple. He has raised Pedro and Alexxis to the best of his abilities, being he is not a father himself. I know the biggest question, that will arise, why his papers were not fixed? Simple answer lack of willingness to commence the process, and since everything was going well we
didn't make it a priority. A big overlook on our part, but now we are trying to repair some of that by doing it now.
Well members I think I have opened up a lot of myself with you , now you know mi historia. I feel a lot better putting this in writing, oops, I have taken an extensive lunch, I need to return to my work.
Al rato!!!

Nighty, where are you??
Wanted to thank you for your recommendations. I couldn't find El Estancia, but we ate at Chelita's @ Puerto Nuevo.
I did stay @ Quinta Del Mar. It was pricey, and the showerhead didn't work. But overall it was okay, and they did have secure parking. But the best part is
at least I had feedback from someone and the hotel was easy to find. What I did like is that they are building a Wal-mart and a Apple Bee's.
Can't wait for the grand opening. Well, hope to hear from you soon.

For mattresses your best bet is the swap meet. The Pancho Villa swapmeet on Sundays, I have seen new mattresses.
The pricing is reasonable and free delivery most of the time. Much less expensive than Elektra and for sure, Costco. Costco is more pricey than the states. I had compared when I moved back in the beginning of the year, and their prices are outrageous, especially for appliances or mattresses. On Tuesday, the swap meet is located en el primer ayuntamiento a lado de la colonia herrera. I have seen that on Wednesday it is across from the cemetry below la colonia herrera. People have mentioned to me that on friday, saturday, and sunday, the best one is the fundadores, but I am not sure of the location. On saturday by Coahuila there is also a small swapmeet.

I don't know I just have this thing for remembering people, numbers. They stay in my mind all the time. Well, even though, we didn't
see each other, it was a pleasure to see your backside. It was a funny moment, because I had just turned on the avenida, when you were going to
cross, I told my husband there goes the Acapulco Gringo. He gave me this look, who in the hell are you talking about? I gave him the low down on our tijuana blog community. He asked me the same thing, how do you know? I told him he looks familiar, and I have a feeling it is him.
Al rato, I really need to get to work

Oh and also, right up the street from me, on a hill overlooking the city in Zona Rio is a safe area, a brand new Luxury 2 bedroom apartment with huge balcony etc, built owned and managed by a gringo .. is $500 a month... I wanted it BUT too much for my budget (although I can afford it I didt want to) He had a ouple 1 bedrooms for 350 BUT they were rented... Very Nice places!!!
Maybe this is a stupid question, but the photo before that appeared was that really you!!. I thought it was you last week when I was Tijuana, I saw a guy on one of the avenidas crossing. The guy looked like you, but he had a piercing in the upper part of one of his ears. On that day he was wearing a white shirt with khaki green trousers, and lime green sandals. Was that you, or maybe I confused you with some one else. Just want to know!! Al rato
