Finally Selling it ALL!!!

28 February 2010 - 07:15 AM

Ok Everyone, the time has come!  I am leaving for the good ole USA for good (summers anyway) next month, and I am getting rid of everything I just bought 5 months ago for my house.

I want to get rid of it all as fast as possible so I will take fractions o what I paid for everything...   Literally I mean it!

Here is what I have for sale:

-Washer / Dryer set (older but works great)
-Refrigerator (Nice, Hotpoint brand)
-Stove /Oven (gas, with oven, warming drawer, self cleaning oven..  electronic functions.. Nice!!)
-Broyhill Sofa Table (natural wood color)
-Ikea Sofa (Off white ? Natural color)  Big and comfortable, and the good thing about Ikea sofas is you can take the covers off and wash it!
-Solid wood Tv Armoir (Big and heavy) Nice rustic style
-TV, (Old and BIG) and cheap, but works like a dream!!
-Pillow top mattress and Frame with legs (maqtramonial size) 4 months old and like new!
-Mahogany like Desk (big, looks like regualr office desk, but its set up to hold and hide computer..
-Black Letherette IKEA Office Chair
-Couple of IKEA plain unfinished small kitchen or utility tables.
-Miscellaneous other things like kitchen stuff, Heaters, Air Conditioner, etc..  ASK
-Also have some Blackberries, and other cell phones, AND a Telcel 3g USB Data Card...

If you may be interested in anything, PLEASE ASK and I will give you more info, and take pictures if you like , BUT I would really like to get rid of everything This coming Thursday and Friday if Possible!

As long as I get SOMETHING on this stuff I will be happy, but I am prepared to tak a huge loss, BUT its ok, because I am starting over with my own house!

I will be gone Monday thru Wednesday as I have to fly down and get my car, and drive back... (I need the car for the stuff I am taking, and to take my cats, AND I plan on stopping at a few national parks on the way home, and making a mini vacation)

I really appreciate any help on this, like I said I will be happy with a fraction!

Thanks for everything, and I will more than likely be back for winters, BUT be going to probably Rosarito??

I MOVED to Playas!!!!

25 October 2009 - 05:21 PM

Well, everyone, I moved to playas about a week ago, after being in DEL RIO, Parte Alta for 6 months.. (Short a few weeks as the landlord had a renter and I agreed to leave early for prorated refund of course)

I moved to Secc. Dorado, right next to Parque azteca (the one they are adding all the new green AstroTurf to) off of Pedrigal.

I REALLY like the area, I feel so much safer and in a whole different type of living .

My house is larger.. its 2 bedroom 2 bath, with 2 levels... and the great thing is, EVERYTHING IN IT IS MINE! As some know, I am low income SSDI, so I have been living in furnished houses because its been hard to get together money.. Well I have been saving and Selling my Cell phones online, etc, so I finally got up enough to FURNISH my new house, with appliances EVERYTHING! (and it feels so much better to live amongst your own things )((ALTHOUGH NOW I AM BBRROOKKEE!!!!)) and still need to buy things like Microwave, a few moe kitchen SMALL appliances,, BUT little by little!

SO If ANYONE, has any questions, as to where to get good deals, on certain things, hit me up, BECAUSE I am a Bargain shopping fool.. (HAHA)

ANYWAY, just letting you all in on the good news (for me).. It has changed my opinion about TJ somewhat.. as I am not afraid to walk to OXXO anymore!!

Moving to Playas!

02 October 2009 - 05:15 AM

Hi all!

Well my 6 month lease will be up the end of this month, so I am going to move..  Although I like it ok, I am looking for something bigger, and hopefully less money, not furnished, and nicer!

I like playas, and have a few friends there, so I am going that way!

I want to stay under $400 UNDER, and need 2 bedrooms, in case anyone knows of anything!

Also, any comments about areas of playas?  good/bad. etc??

Thanks

Water Filtration

06 July 2009 - 01:48 AM

Ok, I have a question.   I bought a Brita Faucet Filtration thing that screws onto the faucet and you can switch between regular and filtered,    I bough this because I got a GREAT deal on it and 4 replacement filters...

My question is, does it clean the TJ water enough to drink, or at least cook with?  Has anyone ever actually tested the water here, and will these little filters really take the bad stuff out?  I am very curious!   I was thinking, maybe if I got one of those gallon filtration jugs, I could fill it from the filtered tap, and let the jug double filter it for drinking..   What do you all think??

Nice Apartment Available!

05 July 2009 - 05:32 PM

The apartment Below me, that I lived in before i moved upstairs to the bigger apartment last month is still available, and is very nice!  It is listed for $350.00 a month, BUT i hear one could negotiate easily down to $300.00 (if you are interested do not tell the owner I told you this, PLEASE)

Included in the price is:  Electric, Water, Internet, Advanced Cable, Furniture, (kitchen fully equipped), Shared washer and dryer (share with 3 other clean people)

The place has been remodeled recently and is nice!  It is a SMALL 1 bedroom, but very nice, and the View is awesome!!   You can see most of Tijuana from here!  Oh you have your own Patio also with that apartment!

The owner ONLY advertises to English speaking people, and is very particular with who she rents, SO the building is very quite and safe!!  (only 4 total units)

If interested PM me ...

OH..  The Apt is on the end on Ave. Defensores de Baja California, in Colonia Del Rio, parte Alta,
Via BUS it takes me 10 minutes to get to the border, BUT by car it is less than 5 minutes!
