I'm actually saving much more since I moved back to San Diego, plus I can now work during the day, which I was unable to do living in TJ.  I was spending so much time, money and gas to cross the border, that I couldn't save. Now that I'm back in San Diego, I don't have to drive unless I actually WANT to drive, and that's a savings right there.

I'm glad I moved back, TJ just wasn't for me. Plus, it's really nice to get up in the morning, and the water is ON, every day.

Now you'll probably find your old card, then you'll have a backup.

Agreed. Just one of the many reasons that I moved back to San Diego.

Costco won't install a tire from another place, you have to buy it there.

It's just a number of things not working out here.  My asshole neighbors from hell, the commute, and everything that I do is in San Diego. I'm going to start working in LA a couple of days per week, to recoup the money that I lost  by moving here.  One of my jobs is nationwide (56 branches), so I can pick up extra work in LA,  and when it gets really busy, work in LV and AZ, too.  Not driving is really going to help, though.
