The benefit would be what if after living for 2 years with your FM3 you decide you want to own property without a trust or want to stay here forever if you have an fm3 you have to wait 8 more years. If you get an FM2 you are 3 years away.

Why waste the time on an FM3 just get the FM2 right away??
If you already have your fm3 your out of luck have to wait 5 years to get FM2 but if you have nothing you can get an FM2 right away..
