RosaritoGary are you moving back to the states? A lot of my friends have moved out of Rosarito and back to the US or into Tijuana playas they say it's safer as too much crap is going on in Rosarito that does not make the news.

No I find it very safe here. I am moving back because I do not like the weather here. To cold, foggy and dreary. Going back to the heat, which is what I like. I have been here 2 years and have never had a problem with safety. I will visit here sometimes in Aug when it is warm.

Rosarito Beach is really nice. Been here 2 years. Just check out Craigslist for Rentals. Anything off the main drag is good. I live right in middle of town at Qunita Del Mar and love it. Very safe area. Gated community and good restaurant "Beachcomber". Check it out. They have a web site Rosaritovacation.net listing all the rentals available.

Thanks for the review Rosarito Gary!

Has Rosarito seem any increase in Tourism?

A few Spring Breakers but nothing big.

OOps sorry about the above Post...don't know what happened!
The restaurant sounds delish! Especially the Lamb. I see Goat often but it is hard for me to find good lamb.
What kind of price range are we talking and does it have a regular menu?

the 4 of us ate for $43.00. Had pleny of leftovers also. Took home and ate rest next day.  they serve only lamb.

Thanks for the tips on good Rosarito eating. Is Tamale Inn that much better than Nido's?

I look forward to sampling both the Tamale Inn and That's Amore when Claudia and I are both back in TJ

I am not a big fan of Nidos. I think they charge to much. You will enjoy Tamale Inn and Thats Amore. Have a good visit.
