I took a Taxi de routa and it cost 14 pesos to get to Rosarito during the day, and 25 pesos at around midnight to get back to TJ.

That's a deal huh? 8)

Check out the public transportation sticky under the General TJ Info category. There are two routes, and you will save a bundle. If you arrive with a group, the taxistas will be happy to be able to leave immediately with a full van!

I got an email from a member asking the cost and best way to Rosarito.

They have Collectivo (Taxi de Routas) that cost 1.50 I think one way to Rosarito. The Taxis are located on Madero and 5th and 7th street.

The Mexicoach Buses the station is located on Revolucion and 7th and the cost is 15 dollars roundtrip. It has been going up the past few years. I remember not too long ago when it was 10 dollars.

Taxi Libres the last time I took a Taxi libre to Rosarito it was around 11 or 12 dollars one way.

Yellow Cabs try to gouge you for 30 one way and I've seen them quote kids coming over to party the same 30 dollars. You can get them down to 15 dollars with some negotiating.

The terminus in Tijuana I believe for those is on the west side of Madero between 4th and 5th. They go up Madero to Agua Caliente then out the free road to Rosarito. You can grab one anywhere along the way.
