On Articulo 123 across from Nelson. Cheap, private bathrooms, hot water. Looks pretty seedy.

Anyone have any experience there?

Hotel Enva is seedy for sure. It ranks up there with Motel Alaska on Revo just down hill from the arch and all of the other hotels in the red light district.

The rooms are clean from the stand point that the roaches are not scurrying at your feet, but there is usually mold in the bathroom, torn and holy towels and other small items that make the place less than desirable. These types of places are good if being used for an hour or two (red light district) but not to stay over night.

The Hotel San Nicolas is only about 3 blocks away and is much nicer for only a few dollars more.

Yes, Hotel San Nicolas is a very good and secure hotel. It is between 1st and 2nd on Madero.

The last time I stayed there it was $30, included cable TV, hot water, fresh towels, good furniture, and friendly hotel staff. Management doesn´t put up with shenanigans.
