If you are near Playas, there is one on the top of the hills. You go up and past UIA (Universidad Ibero Americana). I don't know the colonia name, maybe Lazaro Cardenas? Look for a giant house surrounded by about 500 cars.
Otherwise go way out on Revolucion => Agua Caliente => Diaz Ordaz (?) and there are some. Past La Mesa proper and closer to La Presa. If you know the bars then around Bar Charlies, Siete de Copas, Debbies Place.
Or go to the ones on the US side in Otay, just north of San Ysidro. Exit the 805 on Main Street, go east then left on Nirvana. Several yards at the top of the hill.

There are many car junkyards Southwest of the Fundadores swap meet. There's also one North of the old Costco.

There must be one on every block after you pass cinco diez on Aqual Caliente and it becomes Diaz Ordaz. I visited about 6 last week but with no luck.

It can help to have handy the yellow pages even though many businesses are often unlisted.
