For those of you that love Asian food like me, particularly Vietnamese food, there is finally a restaurant serving up Pho Soup, Spring Rolls, and all the other Vietnamese goodness.   Pequeño Saigón is located  in Plaza Fiesta right around the corner from Sotano Suizo. Plaza Fiesta is the Across from Plaza Rio Mall/Cecut  at the "Sizzors" round-about.

I’ve been surprised not to find one of these restaurants considering Vietanmese restaurants are pretty much everywhere in San Diego.  I spoke to the owner and he is from San Diego, if you like Asian food, pay them a visit.

I have seen this place as I make my way to Sotano.  The bars, restaurants and other stores in Plaza del Zapato aka Plaza Fiesta come and go so hopefully this place will find a following.  I will check it out one of these days.

cool. The only other place I have found viet food was in Macro Plaza's food court. They have a little Pho joint that is "ok". I will have to put this one on the short list.

Yes, the owner mentioned this one at the Macro Plaza.  I was surprised as I had no idea of that one either.

I eat at Pho Hoa and Pho Cadao in City Heights (AKA Little Saigon)  at least once every two weeks for several years now and there is always a different car with Baja plates parked outside and then several Mexican patrons inside.  I have always wondered how well a Pho joint would do in TJ.  To me, Pho is like Vietnamese Menudo.
