I don't see a thread on this good, inexpensive. little "diner type" restaurant in downtown Tijuana. That surprises me because I and others periodically eat there and enjoy the food. Good basic, inexpensive Mexican food in a clean “sit down” setting.
Outside there is a roll up taco stand, although what they call tacos most people would call burritios. They have half a dozen different varieties, all IMO are good. My favorites are the machaca and beef steak Ranchero.
They also have an inside dining area. I’m especially fond of their like steak tampiquena and their chili rellenos. On weekends they’ve recently started offering both goat and beef Guadalajara style birria. (I hope that lasts as I like Guadalajara’s berria.) They also have some nice breakfasts.
They open for breakfast and they used to be open later in the evening. Now they close about 7pm.
It’s on 8th Street, just past Sanborn’s parking lot, between Revolucion and Madero. (Same color building as Sanborns.) The yellow awing says “Restarant Cenaduria.” It’s easy to spot because of both the roll up taco door and the wooden window. (Some people mistakenly think it is two different places.)
