Is it legal to possess a pellet/BB gun in Mexico?

very good question, but I HIGHLY doubt it. Even if there are, I would suspect you'll have a hard time convincing the local cop that you should not go to jail and hopefully he did not shoot you.

Ok. I noticed that BB gun shooting galleries at carnivals are fairly popular here in Baja Norte. I was just wondering if anyone knew the exact law or someone who does. Thanks.

Yes, they're legal. They and C02 rifles are sold at some of the department stores like Comercial Mexicana.
I'm not sure what Mexican Customs policy is on imported ones if you walk or drive across the border with one from the U.S. and get the red light.
