I stayed at this place July 4 weekend with my dogs. It's a quaint pet-friendly Mexican style "'resort" with camp sites, RV hookups, motel rooms and beach houses for rent. Very reasonable prices esp. if staying during the week with direct beach access. Owner is a charming Mexican lady from Jalisco.

There's a great new restaurant nearby "El Pescador" recently opened by a man from Jalisco. They serve a variety of food including great vegetarian burgers and chile rellenos with reasonable prices.

For $30 or $40 a night it looks like a bargain. Looks like its near the Estero Beach Resort south of Ensenada. That place is nice but more expensive.
