Check the Google map on website. It is near the Instituto Tecnologico. If you are not familiar with Tijuana, go to the San Ysidro border by car or trolley & walk across the border & take a taxi $5. All taxis know the area.

The street that borders the Instituto Tecnologico & Circunvalacion is Cuahtemozin at the corner of Cuahtemozin & Tecnologico. A XOXO store is across the street and a Chinese restaurant on the corner. Hi Mary Ellen, is there a craigslist ad, or website that has pictures of the rentals? Looking to move down there in January. Will be heading down to look at places mid December. Was wanting to find something in Playas, yet would love to live around other American's. Do you know the square footage of the two bedrooms? Do they come with fridges and stoves? Thanks in advance for any info.

The apartments are in a more Mexican neighborhood than most of Playas so it might not be what you are seeking. There are Americans living here as well as Mexicans and some Nicaraguans so it is definitely mixed. Ideal for those who want to get away from anything too "Americanized".

The street that borders the Instituto Tecnologico & Circunvalacion is Cuahtemozin at the corner of Cuahtemozin & Tecnologico. A XOXO store is across the street and a Chinese restaurant on the corner. Where are these apartments located? According to the map, Cuahtemozin & Circunvalacion do not intersect.

The directions are specifically mentioned on the website for that reason. The easiest way to find them is take a taxi as most people get lost the first time they come here. If you checked the Wikipedia map for Teatro Californix that is the best to view & you will see the apartments directly to the left of the Teatro. So if you only use the map you will get lost. Also the address is listed & mail is delivered to that address.

The directions are wrong. The address is 12700 Avenida Circunvalacion, but google maps & mapquest show Cuahtemoc as the street where these apartments are located. When you click on the google maps link on the website, it shows a blue marker in the middle of the school. Furthermore, the OXXO store and the Chinese restaurant are NOT across the street from the apartments like you wrote, but 5 blocks away on Technologico, across from the the school. Nowhere near the apartments. The link you provided on the website for the street view, (wikimaps) actually shows an ariel view of the theater, and does not show the apartments.

Had you said somehting like, The apartments are located on (according to google maps) Cuahtemoc across from the theater, (turn onto Cuahtemoc off of Technologico, go slightly past the theater and make the first left to continue on Cuahtemoc) I would have found it right away
