I was wondering what is the age group of people living in the Las Gaviotas community. All the info on the website seems to indicate that most of the residents are retired. Are they young retired, or old retired? How transient is the community? Are most people renters or owners?

I'm seriously thinking of that community because of the surfing. They have a great wave right out in front of the development and it looks uncrowded.

Any other info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

It seems to be mixture of ages, but mostly middle-aged persons still working and retirees. Some places are rented out to weekend partiers.

Tried to rent there for a couple of weeks in July. I have a small old dog and they don't rent to anyone with dogs. Seems all the people who do have them have some kind of permit and if they catch you they fine you. Don't know if this is all over. Found a nicer place in Rosarito....
