so, I was invited by my landlord to a monthly bike ride from the north part of rosarito, were walImart is, to popotla and decided to finally use an old 18 speed bike that I purchased at a yard sale.
it has been quite a long time since I rode a bike so I decided to give a trial run.
first 3 or 4 miles went ok, then.............left pedal falls off, had to carry bike a few blocks.
found a place to get it fix. bolt did not brake cool
off again it happens one more time this time I have a wrench plus locktite. all is well
on the road again.
I am feeling pretty good about now just then................the back tire moves to the side and rubs the frame $%&/()%$·"
so I start kicking the tire to get it straight big mistake........ rim bent bike on shoulder had to walk a few blocks to the car
note to self do not be cheap get a new bike.
at least I had enough sense to just go around in circles, keeping the car close by
