Well, I will definitly be going to some games. I went last year, and I was amazed at how organized it was, and, there is so much security there. Plenty of good food and eye candy too! Just bring a hat, sunglasses and something to sit on. Great thinking HK!

the games are a blast, just buy your tix on the west side of the stadium, so the sun wont beat down on you face as much.

We went to today’s game against Lobos, it was our first. That stadium was rocking the entire time. I enjoyed me a couple of raspados with the chile straw, they were good. One of the servidoras even showered me with a full cup of beer when she tripped on something coming down the aisle… she was so embarrassed but I told her not to sweat it. Hell, I am still wearing that stinky t-shirt as a type right now.

The game wound up a tie 1-1 when the opposing team scored a goal in the final minute. Oh well, Xolos are still undefeated and the game was a ton of fun. Imagine if they win the championship and get ascended to primera division… teams like Chivas, Cruz Azul, and Aguilas de America would be coming to town. That would be so much fun, but I am sure the stadium would sell out all the time with all the opposing fans that live in TJ and SoCal.

I will definitely go back for another game. Too bad today’s game was during the Charger game.

Here is a quick vid I took.

Thanks, after the game we walked next-door to the Racetrack to watch a couple of dog races. I had been to the Casino already a couple of times back before they remodeled it but never actually saw the dog races.

My little boy was so excited to see those greyhounds bolt down the track and then even more excited when they were walked back to the staging area by the trainers when the race was over.

I tried to go to a game earlier this year and it was sold out. I have not been back to try and get a ticket. I friend told me to be ready becuase the majority of the seats are in the sun so you will need to apply the sun screen unless you want to be fried.

The final game of the season before the liguilla (playoff) is tomorrow at 1PM at Estadio Caliente. I will be there in support of Xolos.
