Here is an early " Happy Fathers Day! " wish and a hope that you guys that are in the Daddy Trenches every day know that at least some of us appreciate you!
I will be busy spoiling and catering to the Dudes in my life that qualify as Poppas in one way or another!
"Happy Fathers Day" you guys!

Thank you. That is very sweet and I appreciated it, (albeit not meant solely for me) and almost to the tear point. I have one son. I really do miss having a daugther, (at least, I think, I really do not know) but then she would have been more spoiled than even you or Madonna, Milley or whomever.... lol.
With a son, comes every other tweenie boy in the neighborhood; you know how much time and money I spent on C-64 games, footballs, Little League uniforms, trophies, ads, ... Yea, spent my time in the trenches, as you say, and remember and cherish every second. I did get rid of the rackety skate board ramp tho...
I now have a grand-daughter and yes, I will spoil her but believe me, she will qualify as the first female President!
Thank you agian.

Little boys and little girls...
Little boys have snails...
Little girls have curls...
Think I just made that up, but kinda' like "boys are made of mice and snails and puppy dog tails; girls ar made of sugar and spice and everything nice..."

C'mon richsinc that did not even really rhyme! HaHaHa! Yes, I remember the Nursery Rhyme that you are loosely referencing, but your going to have to put out a better poem than that!
My silly poem was just that... a bit of fluff for Dads Day. What category does your silly poem fall into! haha.

Confused.... (again) but what is new?
Girls, snails and curls don't rhyme? I actually thought my few nano-second composition of my first poem ever was quite good... got to find a good shrink now for ego loss depression.
And yet, beavers preferring chocolate bark makes sense???

Now you know that I am playfully teasing you right?!?
I thought that we have had a slightly sarcastic banter going on for years! You are (usually) so witty and clever and interesting that I love to read your Posts!
Now with that reminder out of the way.... Yeah, Girls, and Curls barely rhyme, snails..not so much! Your poem was very sweet and it was a good attempt on your part at poetry and humor * she says while condescendingly laughing to herself..*....
Skip the Shrink your ego appears to be fine!
Now leave my " Beaver" out of this mister!!!! ha,ha!
*sniff* I just wanted to win a years worth of chocolate truffles...sniff*

(Yes, I know and I am thankful.)
Obviously, you do not have a NYC ear...
Try 'gurls, snurls, curls'...
Does bark really come in chocolate?
Aren't truffles mushrooms that wild pigs dig up ? YUCK!

That smirk has to go tho! It is not very endearing. You will not be President of my fan club with that sassy attitude!
