I too am looking for a no cover, inexpensive, no dress code place where locals go (not ficheras).
I want friently people, good Sunday afternoon crowd, hopefully some good Cumbia, Reggaeton or Old Rock (something nother than Ranchera/Nortena).
Local bars with dance floors.

Well, this doesn't really qualify, but I met my now ex-girlfriend at Glorias de Tijuana a bar along Constitucion near the North East corner of 5th & Constitucion.
For those that want to have a Champaigne Lifestyle on a Beer Budget

There really isn't anybar like that. Most are ranchero if not they are expensive and have dress codes. Anyone else?

Got a favorite song you like to dance to? Bring your own CD and pay the DJ a few bucks to play some of your favorite songs.

Always like to dance at the venerable Ruben's bar on Calle Sexta. There's only a jukebox and it plays most of the day. Even if there's no women customers in there, the lovely female bartenders never turn down an invitation to dance. But its a very small dance floor.

I like Boomerang's in playas right behind plaza monumental. It's super laid back, never a crowd and I am sure you could easily get the dj/bartender to play whatever you want. (as long as he has it).
