Hi, or I guess I should say Ola,
I am looking for a place on the beach is TJ, I've been coming down for a few weekends, but it's been hit and miss. Not sure what area I should be looking in. You know, Safe yet not prison like. I'm looking for a 2 BR. little casita ON the beach.I've been wondering about alot of things, and am so glad to have this board. How do I get movers to move me across the border. What about internet access and an american phone number? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the board. Tons of info here that you need. I live in Playas ( the beach) part time on weekends now.

Spacecowboy what is the traffic like now? My first place was in the playas and traffic was so bad I moved out after 6 months.

Gary, Im only there on weekends for now ( till I retire) and dont drive here yet. I dont really wanna deal with the crazy drivers and insurance etc, etc. So as far as traffic I cant really gauge it. I use collectivos and the azul y blanco buses. About 8-11 pesos anywhere you wanna go....why drive?
By the way....anyone know of a NICE room for rent in Playas? I want to upgrade my accomodations. Thanks in advance.
