Blanco y Negro is mostly salsa type music. It's age group is mixed with plenty of people over 40 people.
Same is true for Ochoa's (at least on Thursday nights). West Fargo too I think, but with more MX type music.
Las Pulgas also, esp. on Sun & Thurs when it's not so crowded (and no cover).
I'm guessing that some of the other nights when it's more crowded (esp. Fri/Sat), with lines outside and standing room only,
there would be younger folks simply because of their stamina for standing so long.
Not me, no siree.
When I've walked by those long lines in the past, all I knew was that I was happy not to be there (nor inside).
If board members ever want to meet up for salsa/cumbia/merengue, I'd probably be up for going out sometimes.
I've gotten bored sometimes at Las Pulgas when I've gone there with the wife being that most of her friends speak only Spanish.
Also if one doesn't mind the environment, the Zona Norte might have a few places.
What about clubs that has quieter areas or one that doesn't blast the tunes as high as they too often do here. What's with this culture ?
Don't people know that hearing impairment can result. Music need'nt be sooo load to enjoy it. Doesn't club management get it ?
Somehow I don't think most customers really want (or demand) such high volume sound,
but they just don't know that it's possible to be any different.
Then of course, what the heck do I know.

Or just go .... or find a few girlfriends to go with.
Lots of studlys are out there roaring to wiggle.
I'm sure they include a gentleman or two somewhere among them.
