Hey Ryu is a lover not a fighter. If I was there, i would always respect the peace. Anyways, you got a place down there right, when I move back to Cali, we'll party there sometimes. We can hold a reunion with all the good buds.

SDC and others thanks for the posts on La Paz and such. Are there still deals to be had down there. And there are Naysayers about buying in Mexico what precautions did you guys take before buying south of the border?

9 times out of 10 I fly down. I have a car down there so there is no real need for me to drive. unless I'm bringing furniature or another vechile down. I've made the drive a couple of times but usually just don't like wasting the time it takes to get down there. I only have so much vacation...

There are plenty of deals to be had down in La Paz still I got lucky and bought my place from family members so I got a real good deal. My place is also not right on the water or in a gringo development so I paid local prices.

As for precautions, my house is titled in my wife's name (she is a Mexican citizen) so there are no probelms with title. Also our hosue is just like 5 blocks from my Segura and Tias so people are checking on it all the time. Other than the occational druck pissing on the wall no problems...I installed a high wall and gate to thwort any burglars and I have not had a problem.
