This hotel is very colorful and is located next to Plaza Rio and is close to Plaza Fiesta and Baby Rock, Ochoas dance clubs.
It is 10 minutes from the border and has over 200 rooms. They hold a lot of events as well including the yearly Wedding boutique show which draws people from all over Mexico. You can find everything from a beauty Salon to Game rooms and exercice facilities in this Hotel. Rooms can be had here for around 90 dollars and up.
Rooms are very quiet and service is excellent.
Please feel free to post about your stay here

With the summer heat already rearing it's ugly head, I'm thinking of getting a room here for us just to get access to their pool.
The albercas in TJ can get mad crowded and I always get a cold when I go there.

On an old recommendation from TJdave and SDC I tried the Camino Real Sunday Brunch and it is amazing.
Great food and the crepes are the best I've had in TJ. The selection of food is tremendous and the fruits and augas and pie selection can make anyone gain 5 pounds in one day!

Great to hear! I am always looking for interesting Sunday Brunch place here in TJ! At the risk of sounding rude..what kind of price range may I expect to see for the Brunch?

Around 20 dollars per person but we got there early for just the breakfast buffet and got the best of both worlds so it was only 170 pesos for both the morning buffet and brunch
By the way they do not accept dollars anymore at the hotel so bring pesos.

Wow... finally... I'm glad you liked it... was it all-you-can-drink champagne? I think SDC and I may have got that nixed, I couldn't count how many bottles we went through... I think I can finally show my face in there again... hahahaha

Best breakfast deal in the city. I saw a lot of senor citizens from the US eating here. I spoke with one of them and she said her friends go down once a month.
The crepes are to die for!
Keep in mind they have two offerings breakfast and brunch. Make sure you let them know brunch. I didn't know and got the better deal. I didn't find out until I paid.
