I've come down with some sort of flu this past weekend and the pharmacist recommended XL-3 Antigripal.
Antigripal translates to Flu Vaccine.
It is sold OTC and a pack of 20 tablets is 35 pesos
One tablet every 6 hours

XL-3 its actually a symptom suppressor its pretty good,wen i feel like I'm coming down with the a cold or something i take TABCIN its exactly like Alka Seltzer Plus cold medicine its made by BAYER its usually very good.

Another Mexican cold remedy is a Drink of Tequila with lime,it kills the bacteria in the back of the troth and it helps stuffy nose symptom,its better tasting then nightquil..

I think that cures just about anything that ails you. If it doesn't cure it, just drink some more. After awhile you won't care...

XL-3 is the best. Thats the only one I use.

For the Flu.. Try AFRINEX... wonderful... stops runny nose, its over the counter for about 10 dlls.

what i do for colds, etc. is drink reishi tea. dunno to what extent if any they would have this chinese mushroom in mexico, but with the significant chinese population in tijuana at least, there should be some availability.

i once spoke with a lady who owned a natural supplement store in otay and she had never heard of it (ling tzi in chinese).

i don't trust modern medicine anymore. and this mushroom has been helping the chinese for some 5000 yrs.

i drink this every single day along with green tea. ANY flu/cold symptoms have gone buh-bye.

everyone i've given ling tzi to who was feeling under the weather told me that whatever they had was/is gone.

This is probably old news but they now sell XL-3 in the US. Many places in San Diego carry it.
