Anybody here have an idea of a well stocked Veterinarian Pharmacies in Tijuana? My 11 year old yellow lab is starting to show some signs of early arthritis and we were recommended giving her a drug called Etogesic. Any help is appreciated...

The only Vet Rx I have ever seen is on 3rd right before Revo on the south side of the street across from Gigante, I don't remember the name.

I don't have any particular one to recommend. But if the medicine helps let me know. Is it ok for humans with arthritis? ouch.

The drug was designed for dogs with late life arthritis - not sure about humans. Will check out the one on third street this afternoon - thanks TJDave...

A quick search shows it as another NSAID. There are a lot of internet sellers of it in case you can't find any at vet farmacias.

I already did Chiquito but it is going to take about a week to get here. Wanted to get the poor girl something in the interim...

If you can find adequan injectable it might be worth trying. It's helped my old pets. It's expensive in the US like everything here.

Did you use it on a Labrador? There are some great meds out there but unfortunately some have bad side effects with Labs. Rimadyl is one that is used with great success but causes liver problems in Labs.

No, right now I'm using it on an old cat with hip dysplasia. Here's a list of the side effects

The are a few:

1) Plaza where Senor Frogs is at.
2) One on Rev - this one is new.
3) One on third - this one sucks.
4) One on 6th street I think, they also sell alot of live chickens (as pets). Place smells a little but is a very well stock vet place, good prices too. There is a tamale place at the esquina. Maybe someone can better pin point the address. This is the best place and the I used to always go to.
