The site looks like a shill guide - only dentists that have paid to be listed are listed. I'm not saying the listed dentists are not good dentist, merely than any dentist - good or bad- could buy a slot in these listings.

As far as the latest goodies - hogwash. I would rather have a really experienced dentist using 1950s equipment that some recent graduate whose family bought him all the latest toys.

There's glitz and there's substance. do not confuse the rwo.

Agree, a useful site would have reviews and personal experiences, not just paid ads. Appears to just be some spamming for San Diego Reader Online.

What gave him away?

His "biggrin.gif"? His bad spelling? Or the fact that he calls himself "planetbaja" and he's promoting someplace called "planetbaja.com"?

Yep, dental websites come and go but most dentists aren't on them.

There are more than five thousand dentists in the central part of Tijuana who belong to the local professional association. I've interviewed more than a hundred of them. It amazes me how any of them can make a living with so much competition.

But there are some truly outstanding dentists among them. And some real characters. One of my favorites is Max Corona -- no kidding, real name -- who insists on doing his own lab work.
