7 years ago I got a mercedes engine/transmission transplant at a junk yard near brown airfield. It cost $1,500 and took two weeks. I was told the engine was rebuilt. Still going strong!

The only problem I had was they used a screw, for the body ground strap, which made for weak starts. I went to the junk yard, found where the ground strap was supposed to be bolted on, bought the bolt from the junk yard. I then had immediate starts.
