$70 for cavaties
and he said its gna cost about $450 for a bridge, each
Does this sound fair for Mx?

she speaks english and she was not the cheapest but did not BS on what i need it done for my teeth..

i have no cavities but i have been told i have up to 7 cavities by tj dental clinics...lol

I would see a US Dentist first for a consultation
Let him tell you exactly what you need and your cost stateside.
Take that info to TJ and shop around since you will know what work you need and how much it will cost in the US
I had to have an extraction.
In the US that would cost me $75 and $35 in TJ.

Wow he told me $90 for an extraction so that is more than US prices?
Well I cant exactly get the US outlook, I guess thats why I am asking.
I am unable to see a USA dentist. Just wondered what the general prices for work in TJ. not comparable to usa....

Most of those prices seem alright if I understand your description. The "extract root canal" confuses me. A root canal saves part of the original tooth to later install a post and a crown. Some dentists charge for the post while others don't. Posts aren't always needed to hold a crown. The permanent crown is a crafted job (I paid 120 usd) which takes a few days usually while the temporary crown was included in the that price and is there in place until the other is ready. Maybe there is some variation, but this was my experience.

Tooth extractions are adios to the tooth. I think the legitimate costs can vary according to which tooth is being extracted.
Some might be more complicated (such as the number of roots involved, location, etc).
A friend visited here a few years ago for that and costed more than $100 for what seemed like an hour or more with a specialist.

I heard somewhere in the news recently of an army Irag vet saying how either some VA or dentist (I can't recall which) had damaged his jaw with a tooth extraction instead of just fixing the tooth.

That is funny and perhaps maddening for some -- paying for services that one doesn't need. Or perhaps surreptitiously breaking something in order to create work and money.
Where have we seen that kind of stuff before ?

I've had 4 extractions in Tijuana, 3 third molars, 1 second molar. Two involved a specialist. $75 was the highest paid, $35 the lowest.

I've also had dentists in the US differ on whether I had cavities or not so I would think there are legitimate differences of opinion and it's not all just to rip you off.

Go with Dr. Bartell.
