I am not sure what you mean by digital cable, but the infrastructure has drastically improved over the last few years, and they offer high speed internet.

The Playas office is in the storfront along side the Calimax.

Here is a link to programming packages for Tijuana.

http://www.cablemas....igen=television

Basic cable costs 305 pesos monthly. High speed internet is about the same.

The customer service number for Tijuana is 633 46 00. Normally they can transfer you to an English speaking agent.

With the basic package you donīt need a box. With extra channels you do.

I have used Cablemas for over a year now. There was a stretch during last winter and spring where they were having problems with domain name resolution and velocity consistency, but since then it has worked fine.

Cablemas is NOT HD ready.
They do offer tradition Cable service via digital cable lines.
High speed internet is available.
The office is indeed in Playas

Just depends. Sometimes they dub North American TV, and sometimes they don't. When it is not dubbed (english to spanish), you get Spanish subtitles on the bottom of the screen...except on local programing (i.e. FOX 6, KUSI, KTLA, NBC 7/39).

The Simpsons and Los Simpsons are on 5 different channels on or around 7pm. On the Spanish ones, Homer says "AYE" instead of "DOH!!" biggrin.gif

And don't let your kids channel surf after 10pm.

We have had cable for about 8 months. We paid about 26 dollars a month. We also have their phone service, not bad but it took us the whole 8 months for them to finally get our charges right. I am adding internet service next month.

Much of the world is less subjected to censors than the US. This includes Mexican television.

I pay about $35 US and I get 1.5 MB of download speed...around 256 kb upload...not bad but way too expensive compared to the US...it does the job though...

Tarifas
256 Kbps $ 199 c/IVA incluido mensuales
1.5 MB $ 280 c/IVA Incluido mensuales

This is what I find on website. c/IVA mean tax included.
$35 dlls, you pay to much my friend. Website say 280 pesos which is $25 or $26 dala. I've got cheaper one for $17 dala a month and I plenty happy.

YOU TUBE is slow though.

My total Cablemas bill for basic cable and internet is never more than $47 dlls.
