Somebody ought to tell jdcs167 that if you start a post announcing your "arrival" it might be nice if you stop back by and see if anyone responded. Maybe he/she just kept on going and is destined for points further south.

It's ok, I'm just giving you a hard time. I don't go out to the bars anymore and if I have 2 beers a year it would be a lot of beer. I hope your happy in your new home and I wish you well in TJ. Maybe someday we will have that beer someplace.

i don't think this will every be the case. the number of gringos living in TJ are still just a drop in the bucket compared to the number of Mexican nationals. When there starts to be an avg 3 hr linea wait or when violence or kidnapping toward gringos become a more common phenominon as in DF, especially among our older, retired and usually wealthier countrymen, there will be a quick exodus of gringos. Will the population of gringos grow in TJ, likely especially with SD housing prices being so unaffordable to own but will it ever become a US Chula Vista, unlikely.
