Because you're not there,.....
Sounds like you guys know each other, that was a good comeback. I've heard the same thing that if you look around you can get great deals and the ocean is beautiful down there.

The food is La Paz?....Well it depends greatly on where you eat....The restuarants I post here and will post here and my in-laws have all been great. I will also try to post some place to avoid...Over all though the food (if you like seafood) is top notch...some of the freshest shell fish and fish you'll ever have...

Drunks pissing on walls, sounds like a horrible place.
Hey, I have a question. I hear there is a ferry from La Paz to the mainland, I believe it goes to Mazatlan. Any idea how much it cost? It is a ferry for vehicles, right?

I was thinking about taking a road trip later in the year when it cools down.
As far as the ferry, the price is right.... but 15-20 hours on a ferry. OUCH, thats a long freaking time.

cool, thanx. I thought $300 pesos seemed too cheap, thats only the person, the car is XTRA...much,much XTRA.
Salon - $209.00 pesos; Turista - $415.00 pesos (2 to 4 persons without bathroom); Cabina - $622.00 pesos (small cabin - 2 persons with bathroom)
Vehicle transport charge - Small car (5.20 cm.)- 2,243.00 pesos. - Vehicle transport charge - Large car (5.20 - 6.50 cm.) - 2,917.00 pesos.
