I took a tour of this place and it is very nice but unfinished. They are not selling many units and now doing a rent to own option. It is very hard to justify paying close to 2k a month for a condo. I know I can get really nice condos in Rosarito for half the price with more privacy. It was hard to locate residents to see if they are happy with their purchase. According to the agent they have sold many units.

I took a walk across the street as they told me the plaza is right next door and has a lot of events happening. It was dead and most of the stores were empty. The clubs have all closed down due to no business but they did have a few sport books if you are a gambler. They also have a little casino in the Hotel. Speaking with the lot security there they run into potential buyers as well and they all say the same thing -Too Much money.

If they came down to 130 or 150k I might consider but until then I will rent for 600 a month elsewhere and save up.

I live basically across the street form New City and it appears to be a ghost town. At night there are very few lights on so I assume not too many residents. Kind of sad and creepy.

I didn't see one single person going into a building and I was there about 90mins.

They have many ads in the papers and online with rent around 20000 pesos a month. I agree for that you can rent two beautiful homes.
I love TJ!
