UPDATE:

Today an Austrian Judge found former fugitive and brief resident of Tijuana, Heidemarie Schnitzer ,guilty of stalking and threatening to murder CSI: Miami's David Caruso, Greta Caruso and Liza Marquez. Schnitzer was sentenced to 7 months in prison and will serve additional time in a mental facility as part of her probation.

I want to thank George for allowing me to post this story here. With Schnitzer's conviction, The Stalker Chronicles has accomplished its mission and will be closing down. We are moving on to other projects that have absolutely nothing to do with celebrities and their stalkers. It's been a wild ride and many thanks to the wonderful people who read and post here. Schnitzer was captured and arrested by Tijuana police on February 19, 2009.

Here's a link that shows a photo of Schnitzer being arrested. Apparently Immigration has her and custody will be transferred to Interpol shortly.

Hi George!

You were indeed most helpful in allowing me to post this story here. I am still pinching myself because it seems incredible that the Mexican authorities finally caught up with her. I guess perseverance pays off.

Let's hope she doesn't slip out of those handcuffs before she's deported. And note to Austria: when she gets home, take her passport away for heaven's sakes!
