Yo, word up forum? I'm from the west side of Chicago's Humboldt Park and will be moving to TJ in the next month or so. I personally love Mexico and the freedom I feel everytime I so much as cross the border, which has been a couple hundred by now as I used to live in El Paso and San Diego and would do so almost daily. I'm mainly moving because I'm sick of pinche american chotas, franchise world and "white amerikka" trying to pre-determine every aspect of the lives of myself and family. And not to mention I can live in luxury in TJ for less than it costs me to be subject to Gestapo police tactics and gentrification here in my own 'hood. I plan on applying for FM2's for myself, wife and kids and eventually purchasing a beach/ocean front home somewhere near playas and have been very impressed with the quality and prices of rentals in that area and I dont think I should have much of a problem finding exactly what I'm looking for when I arrive. I'd really appreciate some advice on certain aspects of living in TJ from members who've also moved for similar reasons. Things like gas quality, bringing my pitt, best areas of playas, daily border crossings for work and how effective security actually is in the gated communities along the beachfront (or near it). In the meantime you'll probably see me online alot til I get there and then again once I hook up some DSL and magicjack and I hope to be situated by the beginning of the school year in SD ( my daughters first ).
