The first computer I ever used I was like 8 or 9 years old... In the school I was going it was like OMG computer class wow!! It was one of those with monocromatic bright orange or green fonts with a black background, and I had no idea how it was supposed to work!! And apparently teacher didn't either hehehe...

Needless to say back then I didnt know anything about RAM, or HD or anything! So I have no idea what kind of computer it was I just remember it was HUGE lol

Well.. to tell you the truth I don't go out much for lobster, one restaurant I really like that has really affordable prices is La Estancia, I believe it's going inside the street between the baseball camps and the plaza "Ejido Mazatlan". There is a big wood fountain spinning and the restaurant is a couple of streets once you go in.. It's easy to recognize

I THINK they might have lobster but I'm not 100% sure, they offer a wide variety of foods and all the ones I have tried so far are delicious! The ambiance and decoration in warm and cozy.. Sometimes on Sundays I go there with my family to eat

Regarding the hotel... Considering it will be 4th of July either most famous hotels around here (such as Calafia or Rosarito Beach Hotel) will be book solid or their rates will go very high up.. There is a Hotel called Quinta del Mar, that last I checked had a rate of 60 or 70 dollars a night (Pretty good compared to Rosarito Beach at almost 150 Dlls), I believe it has a pool and is pretty alright.. their phone is 6123021 if you want to double check availability and if the rates are still low because of the Holiday..

Hi, Baja Gringo!

Well, what can I say about myself? I like reading, writing and drawing. I have 3 dogs! (two of them picked up from the streets from near to death conditions), and of course also one of my hobbies is being on the internet!

As I said before, I'm really not the kind to go out a lot around here since most of the time that is too pricey! I work and still live with my parents, but I am trying to save some money as I am planning to finish college in another State (I would be in third-semester psychology now if I wasn't taking a break).

I really can't think of what else to say.. But I'd like to know more about all of you as well!

Indeed! If anything, instead of trying to make up for all the money they're losing because of low tourism by trying to charge extra to the few they have they gave good service and lower price, by next week they would have more people recommended by those same customers!

Ohh... is Lobster Shack open again? last year I had seen them on strike for months and months, I had heard that the employees hadn't been payed and didn't receive X-mas bonus money, I also heard the owner had been kidnapped! Never knew if all those rumors where true though... Other than that I had heard excellent reviews about the place.

Rosarito has been quite dead these past months... Quiet like it hasn't been in a long time!

I think Rosarito should start focusing in a different kind of visitor: Baby boomers, family vacationist and people that actually contribute and impact this city in a positive way!! Not drunk spring breakers! That only gives this small city a bad image...

And to tell the truth, Rosarito's economy shouldn't just rely on visitors, there needs to be more independence! For example Ensenada is a big tourist attracion, but it is not the only income resource.. when it's low season in can move forward in many different ways... here all the merchants are complaining because there are no visitors and most of them wont do much except try to squirt till the last penny of the few that come here!! There should be more cheap pricing, better service, and that would be a big start...

I've been here since 12+ years so it saddens me to see the police corruption, scam merchants and etc are driving everyone away! =(

Real estate has had a big boom lately but now due to bad image and insecurity that is going down as well =( some of my family are in real estate and have had people cancel at last minute cuz they suffered corruption by police or had their cars stolen, etc and never want to come back again!
