I am looking for inexpensive local hotels. Like the Hotel Economica at Art. 123 and Madero or the one on Benito Juarez as you come down the hill into town from Las Playas.

I am looking for a furnished apt in TJ/Las Playas/Rosarito to rent for an extended holiday of one or two months.
Do rentals for apartments in TJ pay in advance? i.e. If I rented a place for a year would they want all the rent in advance? How much deposit? When to pay rent? (1st?). Would there be a deposit on a one month rental, and would it be likely that I would get it back?
I am looking for a place to test out living in TJ for a month or two to see if I like it.
