Because he was staying at a $50 a week place. I would expect his neighbors where drug addicts and women of the night rolleyes.gif

most if not all of the workers i saw weren't women-at least i don't think women have stubble and speak in REALLY deep voices. one of them was bigger than me-i thought "who r u trying to fool?"

Why did the police search your place?

no no-they searched me as i was walking down calle primera on the way home. it was late-about 9:30 or so. i showed them my grocery bags. my jacket had my cell and that was about it.

i first lived in otay whem i moved here 3 yrs ago and would consider it. but the 905 bus in SD that goes to otay stops at 6pm (makes no sense whatsoever) and that would be hard for my commute.

i miss parque de la amistad.

man that house price is cheap...

thanks guys.

i did stay one time at this one place about 6 blocks west of constitucion. it was a weekly-type rental, total no frills and that was fine. i paid $55/week. the only reason i left it is cause basically the next day after i moved in i got a call from central casting for some good extra parts up in l.a. and sanata monica and so i was there one week. it was a quiet area-got searched one time from the cops but i'm no fun for them-i had leche deslactosada and a can of beans from soriana.

i did think about going there again-had no problems. it's about a 10-minute walk to the border.

yeah not looking for anything permanent this minute as i'm kinda looking for a job transfer out of state. weekly at this minute would be best for me.

i probably won't be there much anyways as i do want to beat the morning line and would get up WAY early-i travel on foot-and don't get out of work till 9pm. and yeah i looked at the trolley schedule last night and i saw it's a 45-min. or so ride from downtown to the border.

In Topic: I MOVED to Playas!!!!

My issue with moving to Playas is commute time, as I'm in San Diego. I was even making out a budget for it and having to include taxi and van time and cost.

Plus starting next year my schedule is going to get WAY WAY cramped-planning to go to school at night and working early early in the morning in SD. I'll never be home.

(I was trying to remember the street in central Tj where you get the van that takes you to Playas-it's just under $1. theyr'e yellow, seats about 8 or so).

Every time I've been to Playas, I think "I HAVE to live here".
