When you get the new computer Run it One time not connected to the internet, then use "ghost from Scooby post" to make a image of your new running computer.
And when you get a virus you could restore it to a brand new pristine virus free computer.
Well I do have admin rights as far as being able to install software including firefox BUT the firewall (which I don't have access to) disables any third party browser (firefox) from working...I've tried it lol.Since its a company computer do you have admin rights.

I tried installing the latest IE7 but that too stopped working due to the firewall. I had to call tech support so they could remotely fix the firewall issue and bring me back to IE6...the cookies issue is still there though...any more ideas???
