Need to start the great hunt for a apartment next week. Looking in the range of 300-400 two bedroom would be perfect. Needs to be dog friendly. Have looked on craiglist, since I first made up my mind to move back down here. The problem is that why are some of these rentals still on the market, since it has been about 2 months that I have been looking online. Makes me wonder why they are still there. Any others I should look at? Also do believe in hitting the pavement to see what is out there, any good areas that I should look at? All help is greatly appreciated in advance.

In 2002 I lived in TJ for six months, just to have a bit of fun and escape San Diego. I live in the midwest and will be moving back to the TJ area, due to the fact I need to live closer to my daughter, yet can not afford to live in the San Diego area. Due to work I need cable internet that is "high speed" ie like in the states. Does Cablemas provide high speed internet? Or would I need to go the more expensive route of satellite, which I would hate to have to spend that much on it. Does anyone have high speed internet? Also if they do can you get it in Playas? Since this time would like to live by the beach. Will be in San Diego in by the 8th of Nov to look for a place to live. Been looking online and there are a ton of rentals out there. Yet I know that these forums are a good source to find a inexpensive rental.
