This place was better a few years ago, for about 30 pesos more you can go to Hotel Economico about two doors down.

I have heard a few good things about this place and it was cleaned up and painted during May, 2010. The downside I hear is that it is very noisy due to being next to Zky Blue. Hotel Economico is across the street and is a bit less expensive plus you get breakfast.

Playas is a nice place to live, but the traffic can be bad when there is an event at the monumental (bull ring). Fortunately a second way out of town is under way at the south end and soon there will be a toll road from Playas to the US border as well. Playas tends to be quieter and the police are more organized due to the small area to cover.

Regarding citizenship of children, remember you must register the birth of the child with the US Consulate to get them full benefits of a US citizen.

To get your immigration paperwork squared away to live in Mexico (FM2 or FM3) either visit the Mexican Consulate in San Diego, or contact an attorney in Tijuana. An attorney who is reasonable is J. Enrique Feliz Lopez. He is at (011-52) 664-683-6795 Office or e-mail: franco1944@live.com.mx
