Me and my husband are new here in TJ too we pay $400 a month in Otay, it is a nice house in a good neighborhood our neighbors let there kids play outside of the fence and gate if that tells you anything, I like it here ok just wish I could meet some more people that speak english, close to my age.  We came here from San Diego which is too pricey for me and my husband, he works in america and he can walk across the border to his job which is a whole lot cheaper. I am a stay at home mom. Maybe me and my husband can meet you sometime we would love to have more friends.

Good luck on your move. For $150 a month, you are probably going to end up out east in one of the more gritty neighborhoods. I would strongly suggest you visit TJ first as it is not for everyone. You should probably take a look around the neighborhood where friend is recommending.
