Its really simple there is a way of life down here if you don't like it go away its not your home and you have no right to come to another's home and complain about shit. The stupid and constant comments about everyone being on the take etc show the writer is in possession of a two digit IQ too stupid to actually do something of use in life. The folks down here are nice and generally honest but like many impoverished areas some go to the criminal to make ends meet. Regardless of where you live there is crime be it NYC or Weeder Idaho. Live where you live and try to fit in rather than being a source of complaints if you believe everyone here is crooked go live somewhere else we need positive people to help make this a nice place to live. Those who like to complain but do nothing to make things better really are not needed here

Of course the news looking for extreme scare forget to menton how her husband who was also killed worked in a Texas prison in the Mexican Gang section and was suspected of being on the payroll. It makes better news to make it sound like some random US employee was shot rather than someone with possible gang connections resulting in more scare and less visitors to the area because of it.
