I wanted to reply to your question about a preschool in TJ. I work at a great school. Everything is taught in English, and once the children get to 3rd grade kindergarten (there are 2 required years of kindergarten, then there are also maternal and 1st grade kinder available) and Elementary they have 1.5 hours of Spanish a day. My oldest son goes to school where I work and is doing great. My youngest is at a all Spanish preschool and is speaking better Spanish then my oldest. In his defense, he lived in the US until he was 4 and the youngest has never lived in the US I can tell you that the curriculum and teachers at the school where I work are great. I agree patience is a must living here in MX. I feel they are behind the times by at least 20 years. I still get annoyed every month when I get to the Cablemas office and they are closed but there are no kiosks to pay the bill like Telnor. WTH not?! Customer service here is general is lame. On the bright side, life is laid back and the people for the most part are kind.

I think the best Tacos el Poblano is in S. Rosarito. It is tiny and next to a Pemex. I have eaten at the one you mentioned and the one on Fundadores but none as good as this one. The vamparitos...yummy!!!

I don't drive in the US, so we obviously only buy Mexican gas, but the only gas station we use is the Pemex by 5y10 next to the BK on agua caliente (I think it is called Bentio Ordaz from that direction). There are only females pumping gas and the line is always out into the street. However, you are actually getting a liter of gas for your money. The station on the other side of the street is good too and registers your gas correctly too. I think the fact that Pemex tampers with there pumps and gives you less gas than u pay for has everything to do with mileage. Since we started using this station, our gas last days longer.

One time I took a gallon gas can and it needed way more than a "gallon" to fill it up at the Pemex in Rosarito by the MCDonalds. Probably I was getting 900ml to the liter. I highly recommend only using the stations that have a good reputation.
