Thanks for welcomes everyone! I am currently studying to become an Accountant (CPA or CMA)... I've been working in that field for a while now and decided I might as well have a degree or two or three*-).... Right now I am living in Nueva Tijuana, but looking to move to Aguas Calientes (or in that area) sometime soon.

***BTW, I just ate at BEVERLY'S BURGERS (rated Best Burgers in TJ in this BLOG!)...and now I can vouch on that too! I ordered the "sencilla BBQ" w/fries...muy delicioso! If you haven't been, you should! Shame on you!

I agree with George. My wife is being treated at Hospital Angeles for her pregnancy, and we have no complaints. Very good hospital, i agree...

Thanks for the advice,

Your best bet is to go to a specific fertility doc... I would say that Angeles Hospital is very good, but they are just the hospital... What type of labwork does he need done? I am very familiar with the clinical lab.

I saw your other post about fertility, so I am assuming that is the area of study he needs... even for males, you should both try going to the same doctor... that way they can diagnose you as a couple not individually.

A friend of my wife's just had a baby about 6 months ago. She and her husband went to TJ to get the treatment and help they needed to get pregnant... I'll find out the name and number and post it in a few days...

I would really appreciate the contact info/phone number of the doctor your wife's friend seen. You are right, about both of us being tested, it would make more sense having it all done by one doctor.

I'll be on the look-out for your posting.

Thanks again TJDave,

In Topic: bringing furniture across the border

Looking for someone to bring furniture to Playas. ASAP

Hi,

I was going to buy furniture from Jerome's, but ultimately didn't, anyhow, they provide you with an (3rd party) who will bring furniture across the border (who charge a percentage of the total cost of furniture)

The phone numbers are (619) 200-3424 ask for Miguel and (619) 572-0848 ask for Jorge. I believe these two work together, just tell them that you got the number referral from Jerome's, but that you DIDN'T buy from Jerome's (unless of course you did)!

Hope this helps,

Milky... one of the students I am training here at my job is from Tijuana and her whole family is in the medical field...doctors, nurses etc... many work at Angeles hospital... if you need help in the future, drop me a line and I'll see if she can streamline the process...

Hi TJDave,

Interested in having my boyfriend do some laboratory work there, but like others got the run-around. Basically he is looking for specific male tests (laboratory analysis work to be done)...any GOOD phone numbers that I can call without run-arounds?

Thanks in advance,
