In the Zona Centro a Brand New 8 unit American Style apartment complex is being completed.

There is very secure off street parking and the apartments are build as a very secure compound.

Walking distance to shopping, parks and libraries.

About a 5 minute bike ride to the border or a half hour walk. One block from the bus from and 2 blocks from the bus to the border.

On Calle 4ta near the intersection of Cristobal Colon (H)

***On a side note: Cristobal Colon is the true name of the person credited for the discovery of North America not Christopher Columbus. (Though they are one and the same person)***

***On a side note: Cristobal Colon . . .. .***
Some revised history have found many wishing they could put their boot up his colon, :twisted: (so to speak) for ever having left Europe.
Then again, most of us probably wouldn't be here. :cry: :oops: 8)

Colon discovered the Carribean and South America. I don't recall that he ever touched foot on North America. Big statue of him at the port in Barcelona.

ah history..

I think Colombus may have touched on Florida in his 4th or 5th voyage, a few hundred years after the Irish and Vikings had been to Newfoundland and Maine.

There are sculptured ears of corn on the pillars of the Rosslyn Chapel (da Vinci Code) built in the 1300's just south of Edinburg, Scotland.

But what about the native Americans that were already living here? Seems to me they had already "discovered" it!

The first of the Spaniards/Potuguese/Italian crews to come to any part of the United States was Juan Ponce de León. Columbus/Colon never did. Most of the Carib indians were already dying off from imported diseases by then so didn't get much of a chance to write the history.

They haven't really tried to start renting yet. They still haven't even placed a for rent sign on the property.

I am going to rent one unit so there are only 7 left available.

I am probably going to get access to my unit today.

I am looking for a roommate if anyone wants to split the rent. Only $250 per month. I will provide the cable tv, cable internet and pay the whole water bill since the water is why I want to rent the apartment to begin with.

TJ 4 Rent;

What exactly is an "American style" apt.? A North, South or Central American apt?

You mean it has a work-out room, suana, pool tables, jacuzzi, pool, club room, etc?

I live in a US type apt., if there is such a thing, for less than San Diego or was that term used more as an advertising come-on? Just wondering if you have a financial interest in the building?

I have NO finnancial or any other type of involvement in these apartments. (Other than I am going to rent one)

Each bedroom has a built-in closet

The kitchen has cabinets

There is a washer and dryer hook-up for each unit

Each unit has its own little back deck

There is piped gas

Cable TV and Cable Internet are available

The layout of the buildings and the parking area

If you saw it you would recognize it from so many small apartment buildings in the Southern California area that look the same

TJ 4 Rent;

Thanks for clarifying; have all the stuff, maybe more like full oven, burners, broiler, fridge, microwave, etc., you mentioned for less and I am considering maybe getting a roomie, if you know of a mature, rational, intelligent, clean, etc., etc. person.

All I need now is better TV. Got cheap internet too.
