So Alicia, how did it go at Ochoa's ? Did any strangers try to buy you a drink ?

Probably no one stranger than you... (and I?) laugh.gif

Sorry couldn't help miss that opportunity.

No strangers bought me a drink

Maybe because I told all my dance partners how it was my first time going out dancing since my son was born, that my husband was at home babysitting and finally, that it was his idea that I go out dancing in the first place (with my neighbor who loves to go out dancing at Ochoa's). That sure sent them escorting me back to my seat in a hurry, well a couple of them anyway!

I did get the two drinks with the drink tix I got at the door, being that it was Ladies' Night and all.

It was interesting to go, but I didn't enjoy myself THAT much. I was real happy to get home! I would have preferred to dance with my husband, which I did afterward.

Isn't it nice to find out that the grass is greener in your own back-yard biggrin.gif

It's cool if you go in a group ... otherwise it's a lot of older women dude.

I've been meaning to check out the new billiards place that opened up next door based on SDC's recommendation.

I think Ronin was talking about women in their 90's

I remember my first get together here 3 years back and it was the best I seen it! Since then it's 50-50 sad.gif

When we went there over a year ago, it was certainly far from dead. tongue.gif
The crowd appeared mixed as far as age -- which was just fine with me.
Teenybopper hangouts normally haven't included salsa music/dancing.
Please correct me if things have changed. 8)
