When I was last in Tijuana, I saw an Irish Pub being readied on the east side of Revoluccion, between 5th and 6th streets. It's called Dublin. Catchy. Friends in Tijuana recently told me it's still not open. Anyone know anything about it? Would like to come down and celebrate St. Patrick's Day there. Very American to celebrate St. Paddy in an Irish Pub in Mexico. Any quick info highly appreciated.

Still not open as of last week. Someone said they are waiting for permits but that is from the street vendors.
Tijuana is much more than Revolution ave

There was an English pub in Zona Rio with a red telephone booth out there but it is now a Mexican restaurant.

Hardly anything English. Just Spanish accents, bottles of Corona.. I was hoping for a pint of Guinness, shepherd's pie, and maybe fish and chips but they didn't have that.

What about that Robin Hood British Pubr on I believe BLVD Aguas Calientes. I've never been but have driven past many times and it intrigues me.

It seemed like it was practically ready 3 months ago. I wonder if they just need to find the right person to get their opening permits. A little cash never hurts to speed up the process. Thanx for all the info on other pubs around Tijuana.

With Dublin's still not open, I didn't make it to Tijuana for St. Paddy's Day. Next attempt will be Cinco de Mayo weekend but off course that's an American holiday. Pretty much ignored in Tijuana.
A friend in Tijuana says he's familiar with an Irish-themed pub called Pub de la Chapu, off of Aguas Caliente, near the Country Club. Anyone have any experience with it? BTW, is Guiness sold in Mexico?

Oooops, looks like its not a British pub and its not called Robin Hood, its called Ruben Hood. Here a review I found.

This place is pure Tijuana. Looks like a small castle out of a storybook. Great couple beers on tap including Cerveceria Tijuana amber. Had its once local shooting years ago, for an authentic Tijuana locale. Small, intimate, safe, chilled, bartenders/servers are cool and not overly nice. A big local businessmens hangout with a large screen TV. Do NOT wear tourist clothing in here. Without any spanish you'll be served and probably feel a bit cheesy.

Celtics Pub Irlandes (Irish Pub) is the new one that opened up in the brand new Paseo Chapultepec Shopping Center.  I saw it passing by on Ave Sonora, its got out door seeting on the second floor that faces the street.
