Is it true that you now need a script written by a doctor here to buy antibotics? Did this just change?

Yes I think it is true and I believe it changed last year sometime. I thought I had posted a article in the news section about it or maybe I just read about it somewhere.

An Rx for antibiotics has been in effect since October of last year. The easiest and cheapest place to get one is at Farmacias Similares. Most Farmacias Similares have a physician on staff and a Dr. Simi dancing out front:




The fee for the consulation is only 30 pesos (3 dollars) and the prices on their meds are very competitive.
