Horrific animal abuse on beach in Rosarito

The dog is being cared for by an experienced and well-known MVZ. Amazingly, the dog is doing quite well. He is a massive and gorgeous boy dog whose real personality is sweet - he's loves to be petted and scratched. He will have to learn to "suck" his water, but he's already trying and everyone involved is very hopeful.
It is my understanding that even though there are animal abuse laws here in MX, they are rarely enforced. The person involved will be prosecuted - likely the first.
Just please all you dog lovers out there - don't let this get shoved under the carpet - spread the word - animal abuse will not be tolerated.
Tears,
RR

I am going to post some follow-up on this situation as soon as I can. Good things are coming out of this tragedy, thank goodness.

That is horrible and someone should rip that idiots tongue out, and I am being 100% serious. There is no reason for that and a person who has the capability to do something like this has no business walking the streets and should be shot on the spot!

Yes, I heard about that guy when I was at the spay& neuter clinic in Rosarito. It really bothers me when I see this kind of stuff.I will post the link on my mspace profile.
It makes me wonder why the hell why we can't spay& neuter humans

Ditto on that - I suspect an attempt at flippancy?

I don't know why somebody would mention Detroit either.I made sure to post this article on myspace blog and posted several bulletins about this barbarian. It really bothers me that this guy only served 36 hours jail time. However, the US needs to give stiffer sentences also, I cannot count the cases I've heard about where some jerk gets probation or community service.
