Just a little FYI -
I'm pretty hard-to-please when it comes to getting my hair done - whether it be color, cut or whatever. As such, I spent over a year debating whether or not to try one of the many hair salons here in Rosarito. As so often happens, I saw someone whose hair color I liked so I asked her where she had it done. "Magenta," she said.

So, yesterday, with lots of trepidation, I had my hair cut, lowlighted and highlighted (it's long) and styled by Sandra at Magenta. She did a wonderful job and it was only $50 total. That's incredible. The same work would cost $100+ in the states.

So, I am happy to give them a recommendation. They are located right next to That's Amore on Benito Juarez Blvd.

Does she speak English?

I bet my wife would be happy to know this. I'm still deciding whether or not to tell her... laugh.gif

Do they have waxing at that salon also? My aunt has been doing my brows forever and I am scared to go in Mexico. I see a lot of penciled brows and I do NOT want that!

To answer your questions: No, Sandra does not speak English. However, the owner of the salon does and she was right there most of the time. My Spanish is limited, so this was good for me. I did bring photos (always a good idea) and all went well. Plus, there was not a lot of needless chitter-chatter - she concentrated on my hair and not on the conversations going on (I'm sure some of you can relate here!)

Anyway, they are good and Sandra did those foils like she'd been doing it for years.

Yes on the waxing.

Oh, great photo George! laugh.gif
