There's a Colonia Santa Fe out on the free road to Rosarito. It's a nice area.
Since they are re-building that highway it would take a while to get to the international border.
Saturday I went on the free road to Rosarito, construction was so bad it took us two hours to get to Rosarito.
Returned on the new Highway 2000 to Otay. That road went nice and fast.
But people said there have been carjackings on it at night.

But people said there have been carjackings on it at night. 2 hours thats alot,the guy renting a home in that area just told me that it's like 15 miles away from SAn Ysidro,is he lying?
He said you take Nueva caretera Tijuana-Ensenada SAME FREEWAY?
